Free summer fun for families

A family exploring Inchcolm Abbey near Edinburgh

It’s been a tough year – but summer is now looking a little bit brighter thanks to the offer of free and discounted activities for children.

There are fun things for the whole family to do right across the country, including free entry for under-16s to Historic Scotland’s sites between 26 June and 17 August.

It is part of the Parent Club’s ‘Get Into Summer’ campaign, which is also providing tips and advice for things families can do together over the holidays.

Reconnect

The initiative is being funded by the Scottish Government as part of efforts to help people reconnect after lockdown and to boost wellbeing after a very difficult year.
